Steel City Appliance Repair is owner-operated. Marc is the owner and the technician — one person does the diagnosis, the repair and the follow-up, with 30 years of experience working on appliances. Calls are answered around the clock and appointments are booked on the spot. We repair residential appliances only; we don’t install new ones and we don’t service commercial equipment.

Homewood is home base. It’s where most of our work is, and it’s a short drive to anywhere in the city — Edgewood, West Homewood, Hollywood, Rosedale, the SoHo district, and the neighborhoods off Oxmoor and Green Springs.

Getting to you
Service visits are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If your washer quits at 10 PM on a Sunday, you can still book your slot right then — the phone is answered around the clock.
